1984 Topps Reggie Jackson Autographed
My mom’s boyfriend contributed a lot to my collection when I was a kid. He worked out at the same gyms as a lot of Angels players, so I had lots of Chuck Finley and Wally Joyner memorabilia. He was also a pretty famous car collector/builder and through that was friends with Reggie Jackson. I can’t even count the number of times I got Reggie’s autograph, but it was a lot fewer than the amount of Reggie candy bars that I got for free that’s for sure. I only have a few cards and 1 baseball left in my collection, this 1984 Topps is my favorite. First of all, it’s not a Yankee card. Second, the 1984 design is one of my favorite designs of the junk wax era.
